The property: a stone 2-storey house with an attached forge.

Aim: the owners wanted to keep a traditional shaker-style kitchen but incorporate modern appliances including a Neff slide-and-hide oven.

Constraints: 4 doors (including the main entrance door and double French doors), staircase, large chimney, and ceiling beams.

Design style: shaker.

Bespoke features: environmentally sustainable solid rubberwood (Hévéa) worktops and spice-rack.

5 ring gas hob with wok burner. Cup handles and knobs in brushed nickel.

Crystal hanging lights illuminate sink area.

Accessible from both the kitchen and dining area as well as providing an area to use from the oven.

Environmentally sustainable Rubberwood worktop stained with Rubio Oil dark oak.

Quadruple socket including USB.

Efficient and attractive way of storing and displaying spices and herbs.
